Subject: January 26 - Guess who's writing from home!
If you guessed me, you're probably right! I just spent a delightfully short
time on the phone with my Internet provider setting up the system, since the
written instructions came in Japanese. So now I can check my messages when I get
home from work via email. Yay!
I talked with Brian this morning (last night for him) to wish him a happy
birthday. He told me there was an Exodus Theatre meeting last night, with a
great new board member introduced and another (maybe) on the way, and some
intriguing plans for the near and far future. Exciting! I'm glad to hear things
are progressing. I urge the theatre buffs out there to get involved and help
out.
Sally emailed to say that if the (very late) baby doesn't arrive by
Saturday morning, the doctor will induce labour, so I'll be an aunt by the end
of the weekend! Now that it's set, she doesn't seem quite so calm. But I'm sure
she will be well taken care of.
I've been working pretty hard this week - this is the biggest yet, with 22
classes. I'm scurrying to keep up with my prep for each class. Next week should
be a little easier. And yesterday was payday (I get paid once a month here),
which always makes me cheerier.
Unfortunately I haven't got a lot of time to write today, so I'll write
again (maybe with some great baby-related news) by the end of the week-end. I'm
thinking of you all.
Love,
Sarah
