Hello!
This isn't a new idea, but I'm writing to lots of people I know and I hope
I'll get a big response! As most of you know, I'm teaching (mostly adult
students) in Japan, and my students are very curious about Westerners and
"The West". I'd like to ask you to take the time to send a postcard or letter
with a picture that represents who you are or the place you live.
Please write down:
-your name
-your job/school (occupation or preoccupation)
-your hobbies or interests
-why you live where you do, or what you like about it
-anything else you'd like to include.
Send it the address below, and maybe you'll get a postcard back! Please
keep your language simple.

If you want to look at my archived letters to home from the end
of November 2006 to the present day (some of them very long!), please see my
webpage, maintained by my cousin Nancy:
And for my pictures of Japan and other random information, please go
to my NEW livespace page, since I can't for the life of me open the old one, at
this address:
I love emails and feedback, so please feel free to write to me
anytime...
Thinking of you,
